Adding email signature using Horde email client
- Highlight or place your mouse cursor on the gear button at the top of the page.
- Then under preferences select mail. Under the General Section select Personal Information.
If you are not creating an HTML signature
- Add your signature text in the text box under the text that says Your signature: Then click save.
If you are creating an HTML signature follow these next steps.
- In the text box under the text “Your signature to use when composing with the HTML editor (if empty, the text signature will be used):
- Click the button in the top left corner of the text box that says Source.
- Paste the HTML code for your signature in the text box and select the save button.
- Highlight or place your mouse cursor on the gear button at the top of the page.
- Then under preferences select mail. Under Compose select Composition.
- Under Default method to compose messages: Select Rich Text (HTML) and select Save.
- Now when you send an email the recipient will see your email signature. You may not see the signature while typing your email. Send a test to your gmail account to make sure you have completed this successfully.
